K. Narayan Murthy is an artist with a difference. Basically from HAL where he stated his unique system of art of creating wonderful art pieces from ink -blots, stone pieces. Coffee-Mugs and anything he finds interesting.
A person should have extensive general knowledge to relate a piece of stone to an event that has occurred. He needs tremendous amount of imagination to convert a piece of stone or a twig to a art-piece. He has a picture for each and every occasion.
In spite of his hearing disabilities due to which he had to face lot of difficulties in his work, he has developed this unique form of art which has been recognized even internationally from places like Germany and London. Words cannot express his art, you have to see it to believe it.

Manu.K popularly known as Pelican Manu, a B.E graduate in Electrical & Electronics from JCE college, Mysore. He has established an organization called MAN - Mysore Amateur Naturalists. He is basically a environmentalist working tirelessly for protecting our fragile eco-system. Popularly called as ‘Pelican Manu’ he has saved the bird and protected the bird for more than 10 years. He also saved many water-bodies in Mysore which play a crucial part in attracting bird species. His other hobbies include wildlife photography and snake-catching. Nowadays he is more involved in conducting workshops in school and creating awareness among public regarding the need to protect the environment with some help from WWF-India. It is a matter of pride for us that ‘The Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC)’ has decided to make a documentary film on Pelican Manu and it is under progress.

Usually we refer the “waste” as rubbish, trash, gabbage & junk them to the corner but there is a unique organization called SKG Sangha which provides the solution for the word “WASTE”. The person behind this solution is Mr. D. Vidya Sagar. He has installed 120,000+ cook stoves – effective means of saving firewood, 116 rainwater harvesting systems for drinking and percolation purposes, Various schools in Karnataka now offer rainwater harvested water for the students, Installed 3,225 solar power systems with the capacity to produce 545,800 litres of water / day.
Sri Vidyasagar has been awarded International Ashden Award for Sustainable Energy – 2007, Social Entrepreneur Award, Sustainable Energy Association Award – 2006 was bagged by SKG Sangha, Mother Teresa Excellance Award – 2008.

He has safeguarded & feeded more than 200 cows. In many rural areas, Sri madhusudan has organized more than 120 awareness program & with the help of localites, he has saved most of the breeds. Surabhi has provided many rural employments too.
